If you want to save yourself time, money, and aggravation, read this review. I’ve owned multiple Mercedes, BMWs, and Porsches. Last year I acquired my dream car: 1996 Porsche 911 (993), Cabriolet, Carrera 4. I found a mechanic in Queens and supplied him with the oil and two oil filters for an oil change and I supplied him with a muffler that I wanted installed. I was charged an exorbitant amount for those two things to be done. A few months later, the check engine light came on and I took my car to another mechanic who couldn’t figure out what the problem was, but still charged me for running the diagnostic. I then spent months trying to find a good mechanic to go to and finally happened to learn about European Auto of Island Park. I spoke with George on the phone and explained what was going on. I took my car to his shop and he was able to find out what the check engine light was on for. I asked George what I owe him for running the diagnostic and finding the problem; he said I don’t owe him anything. Imagine my surprise when I learned that unlike the prior person I went to, George diagnosed the problem and didn’t even want to charge me! I then proceeded to have George do the actu

European Auto literally saved my cars life. I own a 2012 Audi S4 and in the summer of 2025 popped up the dreaded gearbox malfunction light. After trying two other highly rated Audi shops in long island and wasting thousands of dollars on fluid changes and a new Mechatronic unit that did nothing to resolve the transmission problems i gave up on the car and other shops because of way overpriced estimates and honestly no experience with my cars problem. Luckily a good friend of mine recommended European Auto and after a short conversation with Georgios i had some hope again with his repair suggestions. Georgios sourced a very low mileage replacement transmission for me for an amazing price and we got the ball rolling on the repairs. What took months with other shops with no solutions Georgios and his team had my car road ready again in just 7 days. I can't recommend European Auto enough and they will be the only shop i will ever take my Audi to.

Purchase 2012 CC R-Line brought it to the Volkswagen Dealer,where they did a diagnostic on the car and sent me a video on what needed to be done, something with the Engine or Transmission,To be honest I am not Car Savvy,but Volkswagen price to do the work was Very Expensive ,Someone from the Dealership recommended European Auto ,when I got there everyone was Friendly.I met George and I showed him the video ,George was able to explain what was going on with the car and what needed to be done,And when he told me the Price ,brought the car with no Hesitation When the Job was done,George sat down with me and went over everything what was done on the car and also told me about future work what needs to be done. It has been 2 weeks no complaints and the Car is Riding nice and I am planning to bring back the car to get the rest of the work done that Geoge recommended 👍

Heard many good things about this shop before coming here. Today I had to have my water pump, a few coolant hoses swapped and an oil change done on my 2016 BMW 340i. I met George the owner of European auto, who gave me an appointment with a turn around time of one day and managed to work with my schedule of days I was available to drop the car off. Not only did they complete the job on time but George also reached out to me via phone call and explained to me I had another underlying issue related to coolant and shared a video as well. With my approval, they managed to get that replacement part and installed within the same day of my appointment. Will definitely continue to return for more work done on my car.

What more can I say about George. I have worked on Audi’s and Volkswagen since I am a little kid. I sadly no longer have the time to do some of the bigger jobs on my own cars. I brought my 2014 s5 to him for the PCV service. I can only say I was blown away by his commitment to keeping me informed about every step of the tear down and and reassembly. He sent me pictures of every step and made sure anything he found along the way was addressed. He truly treated my car as if it was one of his own. I appreciate that being as OCD about my cars as I am. I will send anyone I know his way and can truly not recommend him enough!
